Thoughts on Pain

Today I hurt my knee.

Whenever I move it,
I gasp in pain.

I know it's nothing compared to other people's pain,
but it is my pain,
and therefore,
it hurts
ten
times
worse.

I might be selfish saying that,
but you all know it's the truth.

Our pain is always worse than anyone else's.
